HyTranslate Privacy Policy

HyTranslate is an offline AI translation app for Android published by Luthfi Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how HyTranslate handles text, local documents, web links, purchase status, and device permissions.

1. Local Translation

Typed text and supported local files are translated on your device using the local translation model bundled with the app. HyTranslate does not upload typed text, TXT files, Markdown files, or basic text-based PDF files to a translation server.

2. Local Files

When you choose a local document, HyTranslate uses the Android system file picker. The app processes supported TXT, Markdown, and basic text-based PDF files locally. Scanned or image-only PDFs may require OCR and may not be supported.

3. Web Link Translation

If you enter a web page URL for link translation, HyTranslate uses network access to fetch the page you selected. The fetched text is then translated locally on your device. Link translation is not a fully offline feature.

4. Data Stored On Your Device

HyTranslate stores the following data locally on your device:

• Translation history, if history saving is enabled.
• Document task records and generated output paths.
• Settings such as theme, default languages, and translation style.
• Favorites and terminology glossary entries for Pro users.
• Local Pro entitlement state after a Google Play purchase or restore.

This local app data is not synced to a HyTranslate server.

5. Purchases

HyTranslate Pro is unlocked through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes the payment. HyTranslate does not receive or store your payment card details. The app stores local purchase status so Pro features can remain unlocked after a successful purchase or restore.

6. Permissions

The current Android build may use these permissions:

• INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE for web link fetching and Google Play Billing.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS for optional task completion or failure reminders on supported Android versions.
• com.android.vending.BILLING for Google Play purchases and restore flows.

HyTranslate does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, SMS, call log, broad media, or broad external storage permissions in this build.

7. Analytics And Tracking

HyTranslate does not include analytics, advertising SDKs, or telemetry code in this build. We do not track what you translate.

8. Accounts

HyTranslate does not require an account, login, registration, or password.

9. Public Legal Website

This Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service may be hosted as static pages using Firebase Hosting or another static hosting provider. Hosting providers may process standard HTTP request information needed to serve these pages, such as IP address, browser information, and request time. This is separate from the HyTranslate app's local translation behavior.

10. Data Deletion

You can delete local app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling HyTranslate. Translation history can also be cleared from within the app. Because HyTranslate does not create user accounts or sync local translation data to a HyTranslate server, there is no server-side account deletion flow.

11. Children

HyTranslate is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
